Disaster Recovery Loan Program
Minnesota Housing’s Disaster Recovery Loan Program may offer loans to eligible individuals whose home sustained damage because of a natural disaster. The program is a last resort when private insurance and federal assistance are not adequate to return a damaged home to its pre-disaster condition.
2024 Severe Storms and Flooding in Minnesota
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced a presidential disaster declaration, making individual assistance available in counties impacted by severe storms and flooding in Minnesota between June 16 and July 4, 2024.
Applications are now being accepted under the Minnesota Housing Disaster Loan Recovery Program and are due by February 28, 2025.
