Local Affordable Housing Aid and Statewide Affordable Housing Aid help cities, counties and Tribal Nations develop and preserve affordable housing.

Aid recipients must report their use of these funds to Minnesota Housing each year by December 1. Please see “Reporting Forms and Instructions” below for more information.

2026 Reporting
Aid Recipients must report to Minnesota Housing by December 1, 2026. Minnesota Housing will make reporting forms and instructions available by October 1, 2026.

2025 Reporting

Provide or update primary contact information for your organization for purposes of LAHA and SAHA reporting. Minnesota Housing will include the most recent contacts you provide in communications about LAHA and SAHA reporting.

Minnesota Housing will include the most recent contacts you provide in communications about LAHA and SAHA reporting. These contacts will also receive access to the Box.com folder used to submit reports and be able to share access with others in your organization.

Distribution of Aid

Except for grant funds available through the Greater Minnesota Small Cities (Tier II Cities) Housing Aid Grant Program, funds are distributed by the Department of Revenue, not by Minnesota Housing.
