How to Use the Map

Search and Zoom

Use the search bar to enter an address, city, county, state, or ZIP code. The map will automatically zoom to that location. You can also zoom in and out using your mouse scroll wheel.

Map Tools

The mapping application includes tools that support both Multifamily and Single Family users:

  • Legend – Displays only the layers currently visible on the map
  • Layer List – Turn geographic priority layers on or off (primarily used for Single Family)
  • Measure/Draw – Measure distances, add points, lines, shapes, or text
  • Bookmarks – Save locations for quick access during future visits (Single Family feature)
  • Print – Export the current map view with optional titles and settings
  • Basemap – Switch between aerial imagery and other map backgrounds
  • Home Button – Return to the statewide view at any time
Multifamily Geographic Priorities RFP/HTC Scoring Information

Click anywhere on the map to view the total geographic scoring potential for that location. A pop‑up window provides a breakdown of points by category.

  • Walkability points are not available.
  • Transit points for rural and small urban areas are not available through the map.

You may also add a marker from the pop‑up menu to capture latitude/longitude and generate a shareable link.

Methodology: The methodologies used to create the Multifamily geographic priorities are available on the Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) page.

Single Family RFP Geographic Priorities

The mapping application displays geographic priority areas for the Single Family Request for Proposals. Users can toggle layers, draw on the map, save bookmarks, and print customized map views.

Methodology: The methodologies used to create the Single Family geographic priorities are available on the Community Homeownership Impact Fund page.
